Here’s a sneak peek at a product higlighted in my upcoming column, in which I mention the Casio Exilim EX-FH100.\u00a0 The EX-FH100 has recently been discontinued and if you can find one on sale it represents an excellent buy.\u00a0 (I have seen it as low as $227, down from the regular price of $299.)\u00a0 It is\u00a0 a 10.1-megapixel compact with a 10x optical zoom that starts at 24mm,a very wide angle excellent for travel.<\/p>\n

In a comparison test the Casio Exilim EX-FH100\u00a0 was as rated by Digital Photography Review as one of the best pocketable superzoom cameras you can buy and one of the favorites of their staff.\u00a0 The\u00a0 Casio Exilim EX-FH100\u00a0\u00a0 is very well-made and feels solid, delivers consistently sharp, punchy, colorful photographs, and good video.\u00a0 The icing on the cake is the high-speed burst mode that captures 30 frames shot at 40 frames per second, perfect for capturing golf, baseball and tennis swings, speeding cars, flying models, running pets… the possibilities are endless!<\/p>\n

The Casio Exilim EX-FH100 is being replaced by the Casio Exilim EX-ZR100<\/a>.\u00a0 I have not seen any reviews of it as of yet – it could be better than the EX-FH100, then again, it may not! \u00a0I am probably going to by an EX-FH100 while I can and use it for my rocketry endeavors.\u00a0 I like that it is proven, that the picture quality is great, it’s well put together, and it has that neat high-speed mode.<\/p>\n
