…they have a neat new branding\/marketing theme using “Pentaxian”, \u00a0a term coined online by Pentax devotees to describe themselves. \u00a0 It’s all very well done as \u00a0Pentax seeks to separate themselves from other brands, \u00a0as they promote \u00a0the love of photography \u00a0with \u00a0a touch of reverse snobbery poking fun \u00a0at those who brag about their expensive equipment rather than the images they produce. \u00a0<\/p>\n

I got the Pentaxian \u00a0T-shirt at the 2007 PMA (Photo Marketing Association) show<\/a>, and wear it proudly! \u00a0 I’ve used Pentax gear for years, starting with a \u00a0Pentax 645 medium format camera that performed flawlessly and always gave me great images that made others point and take notice. \u00a0 Pentax color is untouchable and addictive. \u00a0 For a taste check out my tour of Paul C. Buff, Inc<\/a>, and \u00a0you will see what I mean. \u00a0 I used my K100D with 16-45mm SMC Pentax lens and 540Z for that one.<\/p>\n
