Are Best Buy’s excellent Insignia NS-B2111 speakers discontinued?

Insignia NS-B2111 speakers… is this “best buy” from Best Buy gone forever?

I was emailing a reader with some speaker recommendations last night and discovered that the wonderful Insignia NS-B2111 bookshelf speakers were nowhere to be found on Best Buy’s website. For those of you unfamiliar with this standout product, it offered great sound quality, hip styling and excellent fit and finish for $89 per pair.

If Best Buy has indeed dropped them, it would pretty much cede the under $100 quality bookshelf speaker to The Speaker Company P6. I hope Best Buy brings back this speaker, even if it means raising the price. I’ve contacted their PR department and will post as soon as I hear from them.
