I don’t have any experience with this player, but it is Profile 1.1 and a new design, which bodes well for it. It has analog outputs and internal Dolby TrueHD decoding as well. This player will give you everything Blu-ray has to offer but one of the lossless sound formats (DTS-Master Audio) and Blu-ray internet features. It’s extremely well specified as Blu-ray players go and you are getting something new… not something old and obsolete.At the price, I’d say go for it before they sell out. Since it has analog outputs and internal decoding for everything but one of the lossless formats, it’s a great fit for those of you without HDMI receivers. This would sure go great with those speakers from The Speaker Company!
