I had  to use all my willpower not to add this one to my shopping cart on Amazon. I just don’t need any more TVs, darn it!

The top-rated Panasonic 42-inch 3D plasma, the TC-P42G25, is on sale for only $699.  That’s $1,000 off the regular price of $1,699 and delivery is included.  That $699 is little more (and maybe less) than junky TVs you see selling in warehouse clubs and big-box stores.  Even if you do not want 3D, the picture quality is the best in the business and you have 3D if you ever want it later.

Given the situation in Japan this seems even more irresistable. If you are in the market for a TV, don’t wait as I doubt there are a lot of these to go around.
